Dr. Napchan is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of the Asthma Center as well as the Infant Pulmonary Function Test Laboratory of Pediatric Pulmonology at Jackson Memorial Hospital.  She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics.
She received her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and completed a pediatric residency in pediatrics at the Ricardo Gutierrez Children Hospital in Buenos Aires Argentina.  She came to the United States in 1997 and completed a pediatric residency and a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Jackson Memorial Hospital University of Miami Miller Medical School. During her fellowship Dr. Napchan was granted with the American Thoracic Society Award for her research work related to Respiratory Syncitial Virus induced apnea.
Dr. Napchan Joined the University of Miami as a faculty attending in 2004.
She speaks Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew.
